SkyBlock Minecraft server

This server is exactly what it sounds like! A skyblock, you start with a chest with some sugarcane, seeds, lava, ice, bone and some mushrooms. And also you get a tree to start off with, from there you much grow trees and farms, you can vote for grass trade with villagers with your grass, and get all sorts of things!

Don’t expect anything from the mods or admins, because they cant give you anything and the things you would normally have lots of in normal minecraft are scarce, like for food you must grow farms , go fishing or get apples off trees.

You can also Co-op with others by typing /coop invite <player name> and then if they accept then they will be teleported to your island, but beware griefing is not allowed but it happens, and to get to spawn type /warp spawn    and to get to your island type /home but if accept a Coop request you lose all your stuff and join the other person and if are tired of your old island and want to restart type /newisland (this command might be wrong, just check spawn)

The IP address is skyblock.net I hope you enjoy this server as much as I did, it can get very additive!

How to make a chicken farm in Minecraft

Looking to make a chicken farm in Minecraft? Well keep reading because I will tell you the most effective way to collect eggs and keep all your chicks trapped!

First you will need is your normal tools (stone or iron is fine), junk blocks like dirt or cobblestone (any block will do), you will also need a bucket and a place to get water (Like the ocean) and lastly you will need chicken eggs or chicken spawns to get your first chickens in (or luring them in can also work) to speed the process up you can use seeds to breed chickens!

So first thing you want to do is make a room with 5 block ceiling and about  5×7 is about right, then at one of the 7 wide ends drill down 2 blocks, and do this to all the blocks on this side!

After you do that you have a 5x5x7 block with the one 7 wide side dug out 2 blocks deep, then in your trench place signs on the first block deep all the way down your trench, this is to keep the water from flowing down!

After you place all these signs, go to the other 7 wide side and place water buckets every other block, to keep the eggs flowing down. Next place a water in your trench  to make the eggs come to one side, then chop the blocks away from the other side till you reach the end of the stream, then make stairs so you can reach this point.

Then somehow get chickens in, you can lure, your eggs or chicken spawn eggs! But after you get those in you can just sit at the bottom and collect eggs, if you want more chickens you can throw your eggs into your chicken farm, Remember chickens have about 1 in 8-10 chance of spawning when you throw a egg, so don’t get frustrated and most of all have fun!

Also I will be making a video on making a chicken farm, because it’s a lot easier then using words! So check out my channel at antares1233062

Nr 1 – Top Minecraft Mods

1)  Single Player Commands- This mod gives you the ability to type commands into your single player game and do certain tasks and things. There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of commands in this mod, allowing you to do so many things. It isn’t just one Mod, it’s a bunch combined, making it even better! For example, you can type /fly, and you will be able to fly, or /spawn pig and it will spawn pigs for you. The fact that you can do pretty much everything in single player, makes this the best mod out there!

Nr 2 – Top 5 Minecraft Mods

2) Mo’ Creatures- I bet you think that there isn’t enough Animals, or let’s say Creatures in Minecraft. I mean I’m really getting bored of them. There those animals that you can hunt, well three of them, and a few that you have to run away from (that’s if your ME).

There is though a very good solution to make your Minecraft world a little more interesting. That solution is: MO’ Creatures! It was developed by DrZhark and the MO’ Creatures will add more creatures (animals) to your Minecraft. After installed MO’ Creatures Mod, you may see Kittes, BigCats, Deers, snakes and many many more.

Nr 3 – Top 5 Minecraft mods

3) Too Many Items- It’s the Mod that gives you the ability to get any item right from your pocket and put it into your inventory. The main update with Too Many Items this time will be with the eggs that have been added to Creative Mode.

From what I can guess the creative eggs which allow you to spawn mobs will be added to Too Many Items. Quick tip: To open or close Too Many Items Mod, simply open your menu by pressing ‘I’ and then toggle it by pressing the ‘O’ key. This will hide the menu.

Nr 4 – Top 5 Mods

4) Millénaire- Millénaire is a very new mod that spawns pre-generated villages, with different cultures, such as Norman, North-Indian, Mayan, and a few more planned. Villages are filled with villagers that can trade with you, build, and gather their own materials.

The goal is for the player to gather materials, and sell them to the villages for money, that you can later use to buy other things from the villages. As the villages expand with the number of buildings, their population rises also. To find a town, you hit the “V” key, and it shows you villages within 2 km. This mod is a very cool mod if you are new to minecraft.
